Projects/ Carroll Gardens Townhouse Renovation

Walk-up Apartment Row-house located within the Historic District of Carroll Gardens. The renovation reconfigures the duplex apartment's layout increasing natural light with the removal of interior walls and partitions and a new transparent glass wall at rear elevation. The narrow stair connecting living space to the bedrooms floor is replaced with a wider and more formal one according to reconfiguration of the overall space and functions. Modern and simplified architectural character is used for new elements in order to clearly distinguish existing to remain original building's features.
